I really love torn edges, notebook paper fringe, and messy scribbles and scratches. All of these add interest and texture to the pieces
Days 17 & 18
These are a bit more of minimalist collages. I really liked the dark grey colors on the backgrounds and I decided to not cover all of it up.

Lots of rearranging of papers, picking out the colors and the textures that will make the piece look just right. I can’t say I have any rules for doing this. I just go with my gut if a piece looks right. I try not to spend too much time thinking about it and just go with my first reaction of yes or no.
