Day 56

Using up leftover paint on my pallet for this mini. It’s always hard to capture the glass like surface on encaustic pieces. I hope you can see it in the video - this one so smooth and shiny.

Day 57

If we can’t travel to Paris, I thought I’d bring Paris to you. This one took a while to create and I had all of my supplies out. But you know what they say you can’t rush the process.

Days 58 & 59

I spent quite a bit of time on the backgrounds for these pieces. This is because the napkin becomes see-through once i applied encaustic medium to them. So it was important to have a background that was interesting.

Day 60

There is quite a bit of thin transparent layers on this piece. Each layer peeks thru to the layer above it giving this piece lots of depth.

I hope you enjoyed the behind the scenes look - if you want even more sneak peeks be sure to sign up for my newsletter.

When you sign up you will also get early access when the paintings are released in November!!

Bye for now - Stacy
