Five Encaustic Mixed Media artworks

You know the saying everything but the kitchen sink? Well this week I’m creating with everything but the studio sink! The votes came in, over on the Gram, and it was a toss up for several items. So here we go…

Up first some corrugated cardboard art.

Days 91 & 92

The lesson that this little mini teaches is to not give up.

Keep exploring and fighting for those big dreams.

Days 93 & 94

encaustic autumn leaf painting - Studio Stacy

Feeling inspired by the crisp fall air and the ever changing leaves. One can’t help but create an autumn leaf painting inspired by those Fall colors.

Rust printed fabric and rust artwork mixed media - Studio Stacy

Bringing out the rusted paper, rust printed fabric, and rust water for this little small encaustic painting. Lots of encaustic layers are applied to add depth to the piece.

Day 95

Some pieces take longer to create than others. Art is sometimes a lesson in patience. Letting it develop, not giving up, and not rushing thru the process are all good life lessons that art can teach.
