The last 5

The studio is a mess, but in a good sort of way - the kind of mess that says you’ve just completed a huge creative endeavor. Here is the last 5 paintings from 100 Mini Explorations. I really can’t believe they are all done! But don’t worry i have more creative energy left and I might already be dreaming up the next series (first I need to find my desk). In the meantime enjoy days 96 thru 100.

If you are new around here and want to start from the beginning take a look at this post and then come on back over here.

Day 96

Pressed flower encaustic art with encaustic technique videos - Studio Stacy

Using some pressed rose petals in this mini. They soak up the encaustic wax so beautifully and I love that you can still see all of the petal’s veins.

Days 97 & 98

It’s no secret that I love the great outdoors. This tends to come out in my work even when I don’t intend it to. Whether it is in a more realistic painting like Day 98 or in an abstract forest like Day 97 it just sort of happens.

Day 100

This is it the last one! I have a mix of emotions going on as I finish up this post. A bit sad that it’s done, a bit tired from the work that it takes to complete and post 100 paintings, and a bit excited for what is next - BUT mostly I am grateful to be able to create, inspire, and explore in my messy, light filled studio.

Thank you so very much for going on this 100 day journey with me. It really means so much that you take time out of your day to come visit my little artsy world

These mini paintings will be coming to the shop very soon. If you want to be notified and get early shopping access make sure you are on my newsletter list.

Bye for now - Stacy
